The first one of these I found, I bought because I thought it looked AWESOME. I had no idea what it was, but upon listing it on here, a buyer kindly informed me that it goes by the name of "The Little Giant" and he said it was a nutcracker. I did some research of my own, and while it does work for cracking nuts, it mostly appears to be regarded as a citrus squeezer!
The fact is, whatever you use it for, it's amazing to look at, and extremely rare. Wonderful working condition, no faults outside of some wear which is to be expected considering this thing is likely 100+ years old.
